A friend, Rich, Emailed me something this morning which makes a very good point. For those who think that Jesse does not look like the Elvis who they remember from 1977, this proves a very good fact. Plastic surgery does make a huge difference. Jesse told me “I didn’t have that much done.“
“Please see attached pic of what MJ did to himself and no one questions that!
This may help your course,“
Last night, I posted an image which a good friend, BlueRose, sent to me substantiating Jesse’s note to my husband, Tom, about Kang Rhee having broken his wrist in Sept. 1974. I posted this image on the previous page for December. Since we are beginning a new page and everyone may not go back to the previous page, I am going to post this image again below along with Jesse’s note to Tom.
The second gift to Tom is shown below. As you will see this is a beautiful ring and the note which he wrote to Tom about the ring. Another distinct memory from Elvis’ life in 1974.
Below is the link to a wonderful interview with Linda Thompson about her life with Elvis. This IS the Elvis who I know as Jesse. Although, even better now than then.

The Art of Being
Let your inner Elvis out!
“It’s all right to have butterflies in your stomach. Just get them to fly in formation.” — Dr. Bob Gilbert
Let your inner Elvis out
Years ago I remember reading an interview with Elvis Presley. It was well known that beneath the stage act of his sexy machismo and bravado, Elvis had a softer side that was relatively fearful and insecure.
When asked if he ever got nervous before his performances, he replied that in the early days he was so afraid that he would nearly always throw up just before going on stage.
Can you imagine how his career might have been altered if he had given in to his fear of performing and not shared his unique gift? He might have ended up doing something far less rewarding for him as well as his millions of future fans.
Although he had his share of demons to dance with in his later years, over the span of his career he nonetheless defined and redefi ned himself a number of times. Each iteration was as original as the one before—and because of that, his memory lives on in the hearts and minds of millions of people.
We don’t have to be famous rock stars to relate to this story. For many of us, fear is no stranger when it comes to stepping out of our comfort zone and onto the “stage” of a new experience to share the gift of ourselves with the world.
The stage to which I refer is not necessarily the one we use to share our talents. While it certainly can and often will include that, I am also referring to the limelight we must step into that invites us to more fully express who we really are in our daily lives.
Anytime we follow the pathway that honors our authentic self, it is likely that fear will be part of the experience. Too often, however, we end up standing in the wings, just off stage, metaphorically comatose, because we allow our fear of failure (or, sometimes, success) or our fear of being judged and rejected to keep us there.
For some of us, stepping onto the stage may mean dealing with the fear of applying for a new job that more fully honors who we really are or feeling the butterflies within fluttering madly as we ask someone on a first date while trying to be who we authentically are. It could also mean grappling with the fear of losing or leaving a longtime job, career or relationship to honor who we know ourselves to truly be.
These are all areas where we tend to stifle our authentic self. These are also the times when the portal to our redefining moments open and avail themselves to us if we are willing to step through them.
We inherently know, beyond the fear, there is something within us that is larger than the fear and it is calling us to step up and into the limelight of a life worth living: It is the authentic self seeking the freedom to be what it came here to be. We know it is there—we can feel its presence and desire to be set free.
Perhaps the only real difference between ourselves and the early Elvis is that, along with sensing that presence, he also allowed himself to feel the fear, throw up and then get on with what he knew he was born to do.
We could say he learned to let his “inner” Elvis (his authentic self) out, while too often we tend to feel the fear and hold back. The good news is it’s never too late to let our “inner Elvis” out.
The practice is to acknowledge our fear and embrace it rather than deny or run from it. The energy of fear, once harnessed, can be like a highly spirited racehorse we can ride to our own greatness.
What did Elvis know that perhaps we may not know (until now)? He knew he had to saddle that horse night after night, mount up and hold on tight to the dream he had come here to make his reality.
It’s all right to have fear in your life—just be willing to ride it rather than run from it. You’ll be amazed where it can take you when you hold the reins.

A friend, Kalie, shared this photo with me on Facebook. It is a new photo to me and is so good. Also, it was taken in Sept. 1974 at Kang Rhee’s Karate studio, the same month in which Jesse wrote that Kang Rhee broke his wrist.
I love this photo…my thanks to Kalie.

A good friend, Joan, shared the following video with me and I enjoyed it very much. I believe everyone will find this interesting. It is always nice to hear from everyday people who knew Elvis before he became famous. This lady seems very down to earth and honest in her memories of Elvis when he first came to live in Memphis and throughout his teenage years. She also knew him when he began performing up through the Ed Sullivan shows and the beginning of his movie career.

I have decided to refer my visitors to a YouTube video about which I have known for quite some time now. I have not shared this before because the owner of this video does NOT believe that Jesse is Elvis…nor does he believe that it is Jesse’s voice on the Elvis Found Alive DVD and CD. When I first came across his research involving Jesse’s voice on the DVD, I was elated with what he had done with the speaking voice. Without fully understanding where this person was coming from, I posted a very complimentary comment about his video. He slapped me in the face telling me how glad he was that I was there so he could have the opportunity to refute me, Jesse, my web site, etc. This truly hurt me and I later asked him to just remove my comment…which he did not do We exchanged several more comments and then I just dropped the whole thing when I realized that there was no way that I could reason with him.
However, there is one thing about his video which I have finally decided to share with my visitors. I do hope this won’t start another battle, Lord knows there have been too many of those already. As you will hear, if you read the text and listen to his video all the way through near the end,is that he has changed the pitch of Jesse’s speaking voice on the DVD just a little and it then becomes even more clear that it is Elvis himself speaking. Back when Carman put out his so-called voice analysis claiming that the voice is not Elvis…even though Jesse had written me a two page letter explaining everything about how the DVD and CD came to be made and stated that it is his voice on the DVD, Jesse and I discussed this situation during one of our phone conversations. You may recall that he told me then that the voice analysis should not be trusted unless it was done at the FBI facility in Quantico, Virginia. Jesse also mentioned, in passing, during that same conversation, that they had done “something” to his voice in the DVD. After hearing the small adjustment which Mr. Poole made in the following video which clearly shows that it is Elvis’s voice speaking in the DVD, I believe I understand that, evidently, Mr. Gilbert did alter Jesse’s voice just a little on the DVD…perhaps to help protect Jesse from positive identification.
Even though Mr. Poole has chosen to be an enemy of mine and Jesse’s, I still feel that my visitors will enjoy hearing this tape. We don’t need any more proof that Jesse is Elvis. I only want him to be safe, well and content in the normal life he leads now.
So, having said all of that, I present Mr. Poole’s video. Out of respect for Mr. Poole, I ask that no one comment about his video or try to start a discussion and/or disagreement on his YouTube channel.
You will note that Mr. Poole titled his video as JON COTNER IS NOT ELVIS TWO. I am stating up front that my sharing this video on my site has absolutely nothing to do with Jon Cotner…so please don’t anyone start up that battle with Cotner and his crowd again. My truth about Cotner has been shown on this site before and he and his merry band of followers make no difference to me at all at this point. They are insignificant and not worth any more of my time.
My ONLY purpose in sharing this is so that everyone may hear Jesse’s voice on the DVD the way it obviously sounded before Mr. Gilbert altered it slightly on the published DVD.
Jon Cotner is Not Elvis two

Elvis is Alive. His uses the Name Jon Burrows .
Below is most of the brief exchange which I had with Mr. Poole…I share this as background info only…not starting up a new discussion of any kind. We did exchange a little more discussion…but this is how it started and pretty much ended. I couldn’t change my truth and he wouldn’t change his mind…so it was a dead end conversation.
YES!!!! You have done an absolutely magnificent job with your research and your video. Thank you so much! This is the truth of my site where you may read the 2 page handwritten letter from Elvis/Jesse aka Jon Burrows explaining how the DVD and subsequent CD came to exist. Please visit Linda Hood Sigmon Truth dot com.
Hi Linda I’m glad your here so I can tell you what I think of your website and Jessie. Iv’e seen the picture and wow hasn’t he lost allot of weight. But he has also aged extremely badly. Ok Lets cut the pretense, If what you are saying was true and the little boy is Elvis’s Grandson Benjamin Keough then that makes the man in the picture around 20 years older than Elvis At least. Jessie is Not now Never has been and Never will be Elvis Aron Presley. Stop trying to steel Elvis’s true Identity.
Below is my reply to his response:
The truth is outlined in the 95 pages of my web site. Those who wish to know the truth can take the time to verify every single thing on my site. I am sorry that I misconstrued your video for something which it is not. I never intend to insert myself where I am unwelcome. Please remove my comment. Just so you know that your ignorance is showing…Elvis’s hair had turned white long before 1977 and he dyed it black…the hair he gave me was from the 50’s as stated on my site.
You can’t have it both ways you can’t say one min that Elvis is Jessie and then when you realise the real Elvis has has revealed himself, say oh yes this is Elvis and then try to claim it’s Jessie. Not only that, the man in your picture has white hair and yet you claim Elvis has sent you his hair and yet it is Jet Black . ????????????????. Well let me tell you something Linda. I have found a picture of the real Elvis I have found the voice of the real Elvis, Enjoy the fame while you can.
But that doesn’t explain the fact That Jessie is too old to be Elvis. Nor does it explain how I have a picture of the real Elvis. And if the hair is from the 50’s then why would Elvis Keep his own hair ? That don’t make any sense. Look I’m sorry If I came across as a bit of an asshole. I’m not saying you are lying but what I am saying is Jessie isn’t who he is claiming to be. Simply Because the man in the picture is Not Him. I apologize I was a little harsh. But I know Jessie is Not Elvis.
Below is a screen capture from another of Mr. Poole’s videos showing the man who he claims is the real Elvis…
PLEASE DO NOT VISIT MR. POOLE’S CHANNEL TO POST ARGUMENTATIVE COMMENTS. It will only end in anger and frustration for all parties involved.
Mr. Poole and others who are active in the petitions to the Federal Government to allow Elvis to appear publicly, are mislead by the dialogue which Jesse spoke in the DVD. As I have stated and shown so many times before, Jesse wrote in his letter to me that he was merely reading a script (just like a part in any other movie) and the things he stated in that DVD were created by Mr. Gilbert and were NOT the words and thoughts of Jesse himself. Mr. Gilbert created a real mess with his political angle of Jesse’s video. Jesse said, in his letter, that he would never say things of a political nature as those spoken from Mr. Gilbert’s script.
I display below, once more, Jesse’s two page letter regarding how he was located and how the DVD came to be. Also, of course, the wonderful CD was a consequence of the DVD project.
Jesse also told me recently during a phone conversation “I haven’t used the name Jon Burrows for a long time.“. Mr. Gilbert picked up on Elvis’ use of that name prior to 1977 and used that name for his DVD and CD project.
Here are the two pages of Jesse’s handwritten letter explaining about the DVD:

Elvis as a Teen? See a Never-Before-Published Photo From His Hometown in Tupelo, Mississippi
Elvis Presley is one of the most photographed figures in music history. But in the nearly 37 years since his death, every significant picture of rock’s swivel-hipped pioneer has been widely seen. Or has it?
Wade Jones, 50, a lifelong Elvis fan from Mount Holly, North Carolina, has been “constantly looking at photos” since 1977, when he smuggled a tape recorder into one of Presley’s last concerts. And so in 2005, when the late Janelle McComb—a Presley family friend from Tupelo, Mississippi—sent Jones a childhood picture of the future king of rock ’n’ roll, Jones was dumbstruck.
“I had never seen that image in my life,” says Jones, who looked at the photo of a young teenager leaning on his bike—his head tilted back, his hooded eyes nearly closed in the Tupelo sun—and realized it was the first shot placing Presley (who would have been 13 that year, 1948) on the streets of his hometown. “Just his pose, and the fact that he was in a candid situation, surrounded by normal people, was kind of eerie.”
The image also appealed to a European fan, who paid $361.68 when Jones, partially obscuring the image to keep it from being copied, listed a print on eBay last August. The auction started an Internet buzz on Elvis-fan message boards. Graceland—Presley’s homestead—contacted Jones about acquiring the original. Media requests poured in. Some believed they’d pinpointed the exact location in the picture—West Main Street, near the Tupelo Hardware store where Gladys Presley bought her son his first guitar. Others denounced the photo as a fake; after all, Jones was the same guy who had once auctioned water from a Styrofoam cup that Elvis had used on stage in Charlotte, and later sent the cup “on tour.” Yes, admits the digital-sensor salesman, but that was all in good fun.
So, is the photo—published here, for the first time, uncropped—really Elvis? In the full-frame version, someone has written “Elvis” in script near the right border. But who? Janelle McComb, who died two months after mailing it, told Jones in a phone call that the woman who took the snapshot was on her way to the drugstore to drop off some film to be developed. She had one more exposure on the roll, and just asked Elvis, whom she knew, to pose. But Jones didn’t catch her name.
Billy Smith, Elvis’s first cousin, confirms that the boy in the photo is indeed his relative. Moreover, when approached by Vanity Fair, several Elvis experts attested to its seeming authenticity. British collector Tony Stuchbury, for one, said: “The body language matches. He put his head back like that in later years. I’ve seen pictures from vacations in ’69/’70 where he looks just like that. I’m convinced the photo is real.”
Roy Turner, the Tupelo historian who assisted Elaine Dundy in the research for her definitive biography, Elvis and Gladys, took one look at the picture and declared, “There’s no doubt in my mind that it is Elvis.” But the location eluded him. If it were Presley, the one person who would know the spot was 78-year-old Sam Bell, the last close friend Elvis made in Tupelo. The two were neighbors and constant companions when the Presleys lived for a year at 1010 North Green Street in a well-to-do black community known as the Hill.
“Yeah, I know that’s him,” says Bell, who is African-American. “That’s the way he’d be looking. That’s the way he’d be dressed. And the bike too, that’s what we rode, those type of bikes.”
Furthermore, he believes that that’s Presley’s mother, Gladys, keeping a watchful eye from the shadows. “Elvis wasn’t ever running around by himself,” recalls Bell, a retired personnel manager for a lawn-and-garden company, who often played and went to the movies with Elvis and their mixed-race group of friends. “If she wasn’t with him, shopping and all that, we were.”
But it’s the location of the photo that cinches the deal. The boy in the frame stands at the intersection of North Spring and Jefferson, the epicenter of black and white Tupelo. The establishments on the west side of North Spring—a pool hall, barber shop, and military surplus store—catered to a mostly black clientele. The businesses to the east—a grocery-and-seafood market, a furniture store—served white customers. Bell, who still lives nearby, remembers many Saturdays when the block was the busiest spot in town, where some shoppers arrived from the country in horse-drawn wagons. He points to a squat building, on the right, with what appears to be an outside service window: “That was a little cafeteria where you could go and get a milkshake or a soda, but the counter wasn’t integrated, so the blacks couldn’t go in and sit down.”
Elvis knew the neighborhood well. Not far from his gaze, on the opposite side of Jefferson, stands the Lee County Courthouse, where he regularly attended WELO’s live radio shows on Saturday afternoons, soaking up the hillbilly sounds of local idol Mississippi Slim, who encouraged the boy’s own singing and put him on the air. If he had ridden his bike a block or so east, down Jefferson, he would have arrived at Shake Rag, the impoverished local African-American community, where he first heard the low moan of the blues.
In the fall of 1948, only months after this photo was taken, the Presleys, deeply in debt and hoping for a brighter future, packed everything into an old green Plymouth owned by cousin Billy Smith’s parents, and left for Memphis. There, Elvis united the sounds he remembered from both sides of Tupelo’s streets. “He didn’t say, ‘We’re going to Memphis,’ ” Bell recalls. “He said, ‘We got to move.’ He was kind of sad. Didn’t really want to go.”
“What makes the photo exceptional,” insists Turner, the town historian, “is that it’s the only pictorial reference to Elvis’s years in North Tupelo, living in the historically black community.” Presley long talked about it, and biographers labor to document it. “Now,” he says, “we can see his story.”
What we also see—in that head cocked back and that youthful swagger, if the experts are correct—is, precisely, Elvis becoming Elvis.

Our good friend, Susan, researched and found another photo of Elvis which certainly does resemble the photo in the above article. My heartfelt thanks to Susan for her diligent search and for sharing her results.
Susan shared with me the link at which she found this photo. There are a good number of early photos of Elvis on this site.

My husband and I subscribe to, and enjoy very much, a magazine titled GOOD OLD DAYS. This magazine is comprised, for the most part, by articles which readers submit recalling experiences from their childhoods from many years ago, etc. To my amazement and pleasure, one of the first pages to which I opened a recent edition had an Elvis story. This is a very sweet and sad story about one family’s interaction with Elvis way back in Tupelo and later at Graceland. I hope everyone will enjoy this as much as I have.

Below is the link to an excellent interview with Mindy Campbell who was a flight attendant on the plane on which Elvis flew from Hawaii the next day after the Aloha concert. Her memories of him are so good and, may I add from all I know, so accurate. I truly enjoyed watching her interview and hope you will also. This was presented on Facebook by Ede Danna.
It is the 7th item down on the timeline…

From Facebook: Crosswords’s photo
THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, 2014
My good friend, Lucilia, shared the below photo with me on Facebook. This is my favorite of all the images which I have seen from the June, 1972 press conference in New York at the time of Elvis’ 4 Madison Square Garden shows. This is such a wonderful candid shot. Look at the crooked little finger on his right hand! My thanks to Lucilia for the share and thanks to Elvis A Presley for the posted original on Facebook.
Back in November, 2011 a lost recording by Elvis surfaced and caused quite a controversy. People who considered themselves Elvis experts attempted to debunk this recording. Marty Lacker said that the writer of the song, Jimmie Crane, NEVER did any work for Elvis. This was a total mistake by Marty. Mr. Crane was the co-writer of the song “Hurt“. Also, Mr. Crane wrote the song “Harem Holiday” for the soundtrack of the movie Harum Scarum. It is my belief that this song was recorded during the session for which the soundtrack for that movie was done.
The bottom line about this recording is that I sent it to Jesse and he said “Yes, that is me. But, I don’t recall when I recorded it.” Even with this statement from THE MAN himself, the experts still refused to accept the truth. Why doesn’t that surprise me?
I covered this entire situation back in 2011 providing much documentation regarding the legitimacy of this recording. Here is the link to my earlier Current News and Events page on which my discussion regarding this recording began. You will need to scroll down to midway on the month of November to find this article. There were other followup articles containing documentation from my own research regarding this if you care to go onto them on this page and on some subsequent pages. https://lindahoodsigmontruth.com/current-news-events/current-news-and-events-page-11-contd-2nd/
The title of this article is TIME SENSITIVE ARTICLE…PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
I am going to present this YouTube video once more for those who were not visiting my site way back then.
Enjoy hearing a truly “lost Elvis recording“. This was never made available to the public even after the legal wrangling which took place.
It is interesting to note that one of the well recognized Elvis experts responded to me, when I wrote to him that Jesse himself says that the recording was done by Elvis years ago, “Well, NOW I KNOW IT IS A FAKE!” I won’t embarrass this person by publishing his name along with his inane comment. Sadly, I expect he still stands by his stubborn refusal to accept the truth.
Below is the information on the recording sessions in which I firmly believe this song was recorded by Elvis. This is from Ask.com This is my personal opinion only as Jesse said that he did not recall when he recorded it.
Harum Scarum is the twenty-fourth album by Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3468, in November 1965. Recording sessions took place at RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee, on February 24, 25, and 26, 1965. It peaked at number eight on the Top Pop Albums chart.
How cool is it that the U S Military has it’s own “Elvis” lingo for “missing in action” which is shown below in the article from this month’s issue of the Reader’s Digest. I love it!!! Thank goodness he is not missing…we KNOW…

Below is a link to a site on which you may watch the ELVIS FOUND ALIVE 2012 movie. I haven’t watched it all the way through but it appears to be the full movie in it’s entirety. Please bear in mind that Jesse says that the only thing authentic is his voice…and he told me that they had done something to his voice. You will recall the video which I recently posted in which Mr. Poole had altered the pitch, etc. thereby showing that it does sound exactly like Elvis.
I urge everyone to go back and read Jesse’s handwritten letter (displayed above on this page) explaining how Joel Gilbert found him and pressured him into lending his voice to the movie. Don’t forget that Jesse is just reading a movie script from a teleprompter. The thoughts expressed in this movie are, for the most part, fictitious and are not the actual words of Elvis who is now Jesse.
I have a very bad taste in my mouth because of the manner in which Jesse was tracked down and “blackmailed” into lending his voice to this movie. So, I have only watched it all the way through twice. The only good result of this movie is that Jesse recorded the wonderful 15 song CD by the same title ELVIS FOUND ALIVE.
Also, please bear in mind that Joel Gilbert is very much against Obama and worked very hard to keep him from getting re-elected in 2012. That is the reason that he had the script written to have Elvis saying that he would come out if Obama was not re-elected. This was a ploy to win votes against Obama. Mr. Gilbert produced another movie which he put on DVD and mailed out hundreds of thousands of free copies revealing a lot of the truth behind Obama. While I do agree with Mr. Gilbert about Obama, it was a cruel thing to do to the Elvis fans too try to win their votes against Obama by telling that Elvis would come out if Obama was not re-elected. This lie, within this movie, is the basis for the petitions which are being passed around now in an effort to get the federal government to allow Elvis to come out. While Elvis, who is now Jesse, himself, has no intention of coming forward publicly.
This movie may not be available for viewing on this site for very long. I doubt that it will as it is copyright infringement to air the entire film on the Internet for free…unless they have obtained permission to do so.
Our good friend, Susan, sent me the link to the following video. This is beautifully done and I enjoyed it. The second song on this video is, of course, our Jesse singing Lisa Marie from his 15 song CD.

A new visitor to our site has written several really nice messages to Jesse recently. He has so kindly arranged for one of the songs from Jesse’s CD ELVIS FOUND ALIVE to air on the radio show linked below. I thank him so very much for visiting the site and helping to get the word out about Jesse’s wonderful songs which were released 2 years ago. I have copied and pasted the show’s line up showing where Jesse’s song falls in the show.
Please be sure to listen to the show leading up to the playing of Jesse’s song. They were so very kind and generous to air the address of my web site and they have a very good discussion about the fact that Elvis is alive and that the facts on my site are the truth.
My heartfelt thanks to our visitor and to the two DJ’s on the show. I am most honored by their approach to the truth about Elvis who is now Jesse. The DJ’s begin their discussion of my web site and Jesse at about the 20 minute mark in the show for those who may not have the time right now to listen to the entire show. This is a very relaxing show to enjoy.
I have downloaded the show and will send it to Jesse on a CD this coming week.

Elvis talks about the 1945 and 1953 talent shows (in 1972)
NoCoolNamesAvailable Uploaded on Oct 3, 2011
Part of a very long and unusually candid taped 1972 conversation with the producers/directors of “Elvis On Tour,” only a few seconds of which have thus far been released.
Here Elvis talks about failing music in school (there’s some debate about that of late) and winning fifth prize by singing “Old Shep” at the Mississippi-Alabama State Fair in 1945 (in 1956 and 1957 he returned to headline the Fair). It’s always been said that Elvis placed second — the prize was $5.00 and free admission to all the rides — but he probably really did place fifth and it’s come out more recently that Elvis did wear glasses for a short time at that age. Ten year old Elvis allegedly stood on a chair to reach the mic. Radio station WELO broadcast the event (no tape’s known to exist, but THAT would be a find if it did).
Below is the link to another YouTube video which harkens back to the time before he became “ELVIS!!!” This interview is with Dixie Locke in which she tells about how she and Elvis first began to date. Lovely lady.

Some good news to share! Jesse phoned me earlier this evening and we had a very nice time catching up on some things and visiting. He is doing well and sounded wonderful. He asked me to pass along his thanks to everyone who remembered his birthday with cards, etc. He was going to be watching football after we hung up. He was hoping that San Francisco would win.

This is not a current new topic…but it is interesting none the less. The following link is to a CBS interview with Jerry Schilling back during the release of the PRINCE FROM ANOTHER PLANET box set. My good friend, Barbara, Emailed this link to me and I thank her so much.
Jesse heard about the new release when it was coming out and asked if I could get him a copy of it. I think he especially liked the title of this DVD and CD set. After he watched it, he told me that he really enjoyed seeing the footage which he had never seen before.
Jerry does a good job of giving very kind and honest interviews about Elvis. He was with Elvis from 1954. He was not working with Elvis for a period of time and one story which I love about he and Elvis is this one. Backstage after a show, Elton John was there to meet Elvis. I am certain that Elvis would have certainly treated Elton John with all of his grace and kindness. But, someone else drew Elvis’s attention. One of the people with Elvis recounted this in one of their books…I am so sorry that I don’t recall which person it was. They said that Elton John was standing there but Elvis saw Jerry Schilling across the room and made a beeline for Jerry and threw his arms around him…he was so glad to see Jerry again.
Below is the link and the description from Facebook:
Elvis fans are beaming with excitement as shipments of the long-awaited ‘Prince From Another Planet: 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition’ are making their rounds. Elvis’ long-time friend Jerry Schilling sat down with Elvis Presley Video CBS Saturday Morning to talk about the rare footage included in this highly anticipated collection.
The king did not always receive a warm welcome from the Big Apple during his rise to stardom in the ’50s. Schilling talked about Elvis’ reaction after returning to New York for his one and only live performance at the Madison Square Garden in 1972. ‘He was always nervous before going on stage but he was especially nervous this particular night’, said Schilling. ‘To come back and play the Garden and have the press and the fans love him and go wild. It really meant a lot to him’. Schilling also shares memories of traveling and touring with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. After years of working on documentaries, he is impressed with the high quality of the fan video included in the ‘Prince From Another Planet’ CD/DVD combo.
The new album takes its title from a New York Times headline that accompanied its rave review of Elvis’ four sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, the weekend of June 9 – 11, 1972.
Accompanying the two CDs is a bonus DVD that presents this rare, unseen footage of the Saturday afternoon show which was captured on a hand-held camera by a fan
Jerry Schilling Shares Memories from Madison Square Garden
If my memory serves me correctly, one reporter/journalist wrote about this performance and suggested that since the moon doesn’t have a name, that it should be named “ELVIS“. I certainly would vote for that!!! 🙂
I have finally completed the restoration of another of my pages which were damaged months ago. The page is fully restored now for those who have not seen the page in full. This page is devoted to the topic of the Medical Examiner’s Death Report and related items. Below is the link to this page. I think everyone will find the page, complete now with the images, very informative.
The following is from Facebook. I know that Jesse will enjoy seeing this so I will be sending a copy to him this week.
EPN: Elvis Presley News‘s video: Amazing Previously Unseen Concert Film April 19, 1956.
Amazing Previously Unseen Concert Film April 19, 1956
Some amazing previously unseen film from two of Elvis concert performances [Note Elvis with fans mid clip indicating end of the first show] at the Municipal Auditorium, Oklahoma City has been posted on-line by the Oklahoma Historical Society. The film by WKY News features Elvis Presley, Scotty Moore, Bill Black and DJ Fontana and runs for 2:10. In what is excellent quality film, albeit a watermark we see Elvis performing at the Oklahoma City Auditorium on April 19, 1956. Scenes of the crowd [Looking quite sedate!!!], Elvis posing with fans and signing autographs. And Police escorting him out of building and woman chasing car, giving new meaning to ‘Elvis has left the building’, it is only early 1956 and we see clearly the full impact of Elvis mania is yet to kick in.

Mr. Daniel Poole has created a very nice video presentation of Jesse’s song “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’“. Mr. Poole still obviously does not know that the man singing this song under the name Jon Burrows really is Jesse who is the man the world loved as Elvis Aron Presley. I want to share this video with my visitors and give Mr. Poole credit for creating a very nice visual presentation for Jesse’s song. I see that this has been on his channel for a good long time but I did not become aware of it until just now when someone shared it on Facebook.
Elvis Presley/John burrows wanna be starting something.

Again, I ask that none of my visitors attempt to argue with Mr. Poole or anyone who shares his beliefs. It is futile and will only cause hurt feelings and anger. He does believe it is Elvis singing this song…just does not believe that Jesse is Elvis. Such a loss for him.

MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2014
There have been so many untrue rumors written and spoken about Elvis. One of my prime objectives with my web site has been to present nothing but the good and true facts about him…then and now. One such rumor has been that Elvis was racist. This is so far removed from the truth…nothing could be farther from the truth. All of his life, black people were very much a part of his life and some of his very best friends were black. I came across a video on YouTube which tells the truth as stated by so many of his friends and associates who are black. I enjoyed this very much indeed. I think others who love the real man and not just the image will enjoy it as well.

Sweet Story/”Where Could I Go” By Elvis Presley
This story is told my Joe Moscheo who was a member of The Imperials who sang backup for Elvis.
Sweet Story/”The Lighthouse” By Elvis Presley
another sweet story of elvis and then a little bit of the classic “the lighthouse”
Well, those with small and bored minds are up to the same old tricks of starting lies about me on Facebook, etc. in their feeble attempts to discredit me and Jesse. The story starting the rounds recently, I am told, is that my husband Tom is really “Jesse”. This is total absurdity!!! I have asked Tom’s permission to display a photo of us together on my site to dispel this latest lie. Man, this crap gets so old!!!! How many of these ridiculous rumors do I have to put to rest???? Why is it so hard for people to either accept the truth which Jesse and I are telling and for which we have furnished abundant proof or else just go about their own business and leave me, Jesse and this web site alone.
There are undoubtedly 1,000’s of Elvis web sites on the Internet with which I do not agree at all…but no one will ever see me going to those sites and picking them apart and starting lies about them. As I have stated so many times before, I have never published one negative thing on this web site about anyone without their having first said or published something untrue about me, Jesse or my web site.
I have, in the past, had to prove that I did not die; that I am not the woman shown in the tabloid photo with someone who is supposedly Elvis on crutches; that I am not the former secretary of Johnny Harra; that the photo of Jesse with his grandson Benjamin is just THAT; the list has gone on and on for too many years to remember it all.
So, here is a photo of my wonderful husband who, as anyone can see, is very handsome but looks NOTHING like Jesse’s photo; does not sing a lick; who has very nice handwriting but nothing like Elvis’; and whose DNA most certainly does not match Elvis’ first cousins on both the Presley and the Smith side of Elvis Presley’s family.
I do have friends who are involved in my site who have met Tom face to face with me…some of them several times…who can attest to the fact that the man in this photo is Tom, my husband of almost 44 years.
So, to the rumor mongers, go off in your little corner scratching your head to think up your next lie.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29, 2014
Well, I am going to set the record straight to counteract yet another ridiculous rumor which is being put out very forcefully about who Elvis is now. Another polite, but misguided person, has posted, on one of my Facebook Pages, that Elvis is not Jesse now. But that he is the father of the London actor Robert Pattinson…who is the son of the real Elvis who is now living as Richard Pattinson. Of course, this is totally absurd. To dispel this lie, I am going to post below a photo of Robert on the Jay Leno show with his father sitting in the audience. You will see a close up of Richard Pattinson below proving that he is NOT Elvis.
Elvis is Jesse. Period. I KNOW this is the truth and have for so many years. No one will ever come forward to prove that anyone other than Jesse is Elvis.
Here is a photo of young Robert on the Leno show. Below that is a close up photo of his father, Richard, sitting in the audience and waving to his son and Leno on stage.
Robert Pattinson credits his father with teaching him how to woo women.
The Twilight heartthrob, who is dating co-star Kristen Stewart, told Jay Leno he regularly gets tips on debonair behaviour via email.
Pattinson, 24, said: ‘I hope this doesn’t embarrass him but my Dad loves sending me emails which I love getting.
‘He sends me these things and I just want to read one, I thought it was so sweet, he always phrases these emails in a very formal way.

Below is one of the Facebook visitor’s comments regarding this matter. Unfortunately, I acted on my gut reaction last night and deleted this person’s other comments. The deleted comments went into more details. The below will only substantiate the fact that this person posted that which I have written above.
I am not angry with this person at all…just squashing another absurdity which one person is attempting to put forth as a fact. Some other visitors took this person’s posts seriously and began responding and asking him questions. Thus my decision to nip this rumor in the bud.

2. Matching voice = richard pattinson
3. The photo of elvis sitting with prissila and the blonde blue eyed girl reportedly Lisa Marie isn’t Lisa Marie it is lizzy pattinson * huh????
4. The Boy in your photo is elvis’ s son robert pattinson. * huh????
5.robert pattinson’s resemblance to elvis.
6. Pattinson sisters natural blonde as was robert pattinson as a child as was elvis. *see screen shot of this girl below.
Elvis does not think he can come back, but he can do easily. He has to come back to respect his ancestors.
Above *footnotes in red were added by me.
Below is a screen shot of Lizzy Pattinson as mentioned above in Mr. Anderson’s comments on my Facebook page. Mr. Anderson’s statement about Lizzy being the child in the photo with Elvis and Priscilla is totally incongruous.
Should anyone still have any doubt about Richard Pattinson NOT being Elvis, please watch this 31 second blip on YouTube where you may see and hear Mr. Pattinson greeting some fans at his son’s movie. You will see that nothing about Mr. Pattinson resembles Elvis in the least…much less his speaking voice.
