Below is the link at which you may begin voting for Elvis every day for the year of 2017.
Let’s make it happen for a third year in a row…2015-2016-?
I sent out my own birthday gift package to Jesse this past Friday. Because I could not believe my incredibly good luck in finding the perfect birthday card for him, I want to share it below. He will see the actual card before I mail him this page so I am not spoiling it by posting it here now.
TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2017
While we were away from home this afternoon for one of my Dr. appointments, Jesse called two times and left messages for us. Later tonight, he called back so that we could speak. He said he was sorry that he had not had a chance to call…just been so busy. His stomach problem is better. He and I discussed our health issues. He said that Chuck Berry is 90 and has a new album coming out this year. Jesse said that as long as he can keep playing the piano and singing, he thinks he will keep on keepin’ on. It was certainly a great relief for me to get his calls and to know that he is doing alright. Made my day, as always!
Jesse has asked that I pass along his thanks to those people who sent gifts to him and to little Nick. They both appreciated the gifts so very much. Jesse will try to get around to sending along something to those people.
I will probably not get to be too active here on the site for the rest of this week. Still in pain and have some things I must get done before going in for a procedure on Friday morning. I have been given instructions that I should rest a lot Friday upon returning home and the same for Saturday.
Jesse has not received the package which I sent to him at the end of last week yet because of the New Years postal holiday yesterday. Can’t wait for him to get the birthday card and our gift.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 5, 2017
My good friend, Cristóbal, Emailed the below wonderful photo comparison to me and I want to share it here with my visitors. I thank Cristóbal so very much for brightening our day with this. Please take note of Jesse’s and Elvis’ thumb in these two photos.
Cristóbal wrote the following and I agree with him completely:
I send you a photo that has caught my attention. Seeing the photo of Elvis with the children, I remembered the photo of Jesse. As you can see the hands are identical.

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – Tupelo’s Elvis Presley Fan Club is helping the high school band get to Washington DC to march during the inaugural parade.
Fan club members were on hand for a check presentation. The Tupelo Elvis Presley Fan Club is donating $5,000 to the band.
The THS band learned about the prestigious invite to march in the parade during Christmas break.
They are the only high school band in the entire state invited to march in the inaugural parade after Donald Trump is sworn in as President.
“Elvis was a dreamer and Elvis’ message to young adults and all children was to believe in your dreams, that they can come true, this is an opportunity for our local Elvis Presley fan club organization to help 180 band members dreams come true, to be a part of history,” said Jack Curtis, president of the Tupelo Elvis Presley Fan Club.
The Tupelo Elvis fan club is challenging area civic groups to contribute to the band’s trip. The trip will cost about $100,000. For information on how you can help, go to https://www.gofundme.com/tupelo-hs-band-inauguration-parade or you can make a donation through the Tupelo based CREATE Foundation.

The following quote from Elvis is taken from the book “Elvis Face to Face” by Wanda June Hill whose permission has been given to me for the use of some of her material. I thank Wanda so very much for her generosity.
He said, “God ain’t gonna let me die on stage, he won’t be that mean to me, I’m gonna be home, with my friends an’ it’ll be all right, you’ll see.”
And so he was.
Wanda has stated that Elvis also said to her:
“I’ll be gone…but, I’ll be around.“
Wanda June Hill’s memories of her friend, Elvis Presley. You can download this book in PDF for free. DONATION REQUESTED.

As always, I cannot begin to recommend the two books by Wanda June Hill highly enough. They are a true joy and blessing to read and treasure.
Below is the link to purchase her first book:
We Remember, Elvis: REVISED 2006 edition
This book has been re-released and revised with additional sections added, because after 25 years, Elvis’ dignity has been torn up time after time, by people who didn’t know him, judged him and what he stood for by their own imperfections, desires and delusions for what ever gain they received. He has been one of the most misunderstood and vilified entertainers of his time and for the most part after his death. In this book, We Remember, Elvis many people who did know him, who had personal contact with the man, more than the entertainer have come together to tell their stories and in doing so, let Elvis reveal himself in ways he never was allowed to do while living.

I came across the below review of a recently published Elvis book…September, 2016. I am sharing it here for my visitors and am considering purchasing this book myself. I know only what I have read in this review and on Amazon so I cannot recommend it from any personal experience.
BOOK REVIEW: “The Death and Resurrection of Elvis Presley” by Ted Harrison
Ted Harrison’s “The Death and Resurrection of Elvis Presley
ANDREW W. GRIFFIN | JANUARY 12, 2017
BOOK REVIEW: The Death and Resurrection of Elvis Presley by Ted Harrison (Reaktion Books) 2016
“When Elvis Presley died in August 1977, I was only five years old and too young to really know who he was or what his impact had been – up to that point – on popular culture, not only in America but around the world.
And it is that continuing impact on society that is primarily the focus of Ted Harrison’s new book, The Death and Resurrection of Elvis Presley.
Harrison, a British writer, has long had an interest in all-things-Elvis, having even had a hand in producing a *1997 BBC documentary titled Elvis and the Presleytarians. His knowledge of Presleyana is expansive and is notable in this 251-page, 13-chapter book that has a limited number of photographs included.
Driving back from Florida this summer, my son and I were able to take a detour through Memphis, Tennessee and take the tour of Graceland, Elvis’s home and where he died – allegedly – nearly 40 years ago.
I had been before, but this time I had a chance to see Elvis’s digs through my young son’s eyes. He was fascinated with the garish decorations, the three televisions (airing Dr. Strangelove and Johnny Carson when we came through) and his shooting range. Plus we got to see all of his awards and gold records. It was a lot more fun this time around.
And you know, even though I never considered myself a huge fan of Elvis, there is something about this native of Tupelo, Mississippi that seems to come up more often than not.
And I think my longtime interest in early American rock n’ roll plays a large part. I love the Sun Studio guys and Buddy Holly and Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent and lots of the R&B guys … the list is long. But it all seems to come back to Elvis for so many people out there. His looks, his style, his sound, his voice – the whole package.
Writes Harrison: “There have been other celebrities who have died before their time – John Lennon himself, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, Jimi Hendrix – but none of them approach Elvis in their posthumous fame.”
It is true. Elvis commands a tremendous amount of interest. There are countless websites devoted to “The King” and many, many Elvis impersonators – although “tribute artist” is the preferred description, according to the author. And the merchandise not only available at the Graceland gift shop, but around the world, is hard to tabulate.
There is a total commitment to Elvis Presley in all segments of society.
Elvis music can be heard on a SiriusXM channel devoted to the King, which features “updated” versions of old songs like the 1968 track “A Little Less Conversation,” featured in the film Live A Little, Love a Little, which was heard in the 2001 film Ocean’s Eleven and was updated into a groovy dance track in 2002 by a Dutch producer and made into a hit that year, introducing younger people to Elvis’s music who might not have otherwise heard it.
What interested me the most in Harrison’s book was his chapter titled “St. Elvis,” where the well-researched religious overtones in Elvis’s work and life – and being – have been analyzed.
Harrison notes the claims of a female friend of Elvis – Wanda June Hill – who said her friend claimed to live near a “Blue Star” in the constellation of Orion, with Elvis allegedly telling Hill: “I am not of this world.” Is it true? Even other friends – Memphis Mafia and others, his own father, Vernon, and Elvis himself – knew there was something different about the man who would captivate so many people.
Harrison gives us plenty of anecdotes, journalistic information about Graceland, Elvis Presley Enterprises, continuing Elvis fandom, conspiracies about whether or not Elvis really died or not and so much more, including the notion that like Christianity, the cult surrounding Elvis Presley has the makings of a future religion, and some people are already taking their love of Elvis in that spiritual direction.
Some of the book is a bit dry and matter-of-fact, but it’s pages are filled to the brim with Presleyana and key information. I applaud Harrison for cramming so much dirt here. It’s fascinating stuff.
I highly recommend The Death and Resurrection of Elvis Presley!“
Below is the link to this book on Amazon:
“There is no other way to put it: Elvis is the King. Note the present tense: even though Elvis (supposedly) died nearly forty years ago, he has lived on in our hearts, as a sound, as an image, and as an especially vigorous personality. In fact, it’s safe to say no other celebrity has done so quite as well. The Death and Resurrection of Elvis Presley is the story of that afterlife, of Elvis after he left the building. Walking the eccentrically carpeted rooms of Graceland, bidding into stratospheric sums on his auctioned relics, and mingling among the some 200,000 impersonators of his likeness, Ted Harrison offers nothing less than the ultimate Elvis tribute.
Harrison begins, of course, in pilgrimage: to Graceland. He shows how Elvis’s estate was pillaged nearly to ruin by his manager but was saved through the deft business acumen and financial vision of his divorced wife, one Priscilla Presley. If Graceland seems holy, that’s because it is: Harrison unveils in Elvis’s allure a deeply spiritual dimension, showing how Elvis fans, over the decades, have anointed their idol with Christ-like qualities. Through Elvis’s extravagance, Harrison raises fascinating links between money and faith, and through Elvis’s life, he shows how the King actually fulfilled a host of roles ranging from hero to martyr to saint. Underpinning the whole story is Elvis’s extraordinary charisma and—lest we forget—his astonishing musical genius.how Elvis’s estate was pillaged nearly to ruin by his manager but was saved through the deft business acumen and financial vision of his divorced wife, one Priscilla Presley. Below is the video, which is available on several different YouTube channels, of the BBC documentary mentioned in the above book review, *Elvis and the Presleytarians. I have watched this video some years ago but have not shared it heretofore on this site, to the best of my recollection. There is a version on YouTube which was created 5 years ago…but which is broken into four approx. 8-minute segments. Below is the link to Part 1 of that series of videos which is my preference. However, I will share a more recent full version below which was posted on YouTube by another channel more recently.

I FEEL SURE THAT JESSE WOULD MUCH PREFER THAT I SHARE WITH MY VISITORS, BEFORE YOU READ THE ABOVE BOOK OR VIEW THE FOLLOWING VIDEO, THAT HE HAS STATED MANY TIMES “I AM ONLY HUMAN“.
JESSE HAS NEVER ONCE ALLUDED TO ANY OF THE BELIEFS WHICH MAY BE EXPRESSED ABOUT ELVIS IN THIS MATERIAL. JESSE IS A VERY MODEST AND HUMBLE MAN WHO, I FEEL SURE, IS GOING TO CRINGE A LITTLE WHEN HE VIEWS THIS VIDEO. HOWEVER, I AM SURE THAT HE WILL FEEL BLESSED AND HONORED THAT THERE ARE THOSE WHO LOVE HIM SO MUCH WHO DO REVERE HIM IN THIS WAY.

Happy 82nd birthday to Jesse Garon and Elvis Aaron Presley of Memphis, TN. You can read about Elvis’ twin and Elvis story at many sites. Elvis helped to change the way we make and listen to music. He was possibly the most influential entertainer of the Twentieth Century and maybe of all time. His style and approach to walking onto a stage and performing is still being copied. This is my Happy Birthday tribute video for Elvis and his millions of fans. Thanks to my friend, Danny for the Palomino shirt which helps me to tell some of the story in this video.

I am happy to share that Jesse phoned me this afternoon. We did have a good visit and he is doing fine. He called to check on my health issues to see if the treatment which I had done did help with my pain. I will be seeing the doctor again on the 25th to see what he suggests doing next as I still have the same pain as before. But speaking with Jesse was the best medicine for me and made me feel better. He is the best brother in the world.
I want to explain to everyone that, because of my pain, I don’t sit at the computer nearly as much as I have heretofore. Therefore, I am not corresponding in response to Emails, etc. I did inactivate my account on Facebook because it was becoming a problem for me due to the number of private messages which I was receiving. It had become too demanding and time consuming. I may reactivate my Facebook account at some point, but will not resume corresponding. I thank everyone for understanding.
I will continue to update my website as often as possible.

Well, well, well…here we go one more time. The following is another example of the conspiracy stories about Elvis being sighted at Graceland which come out after almost every event held there. These types of rumors are just one of the many causes of my leaving Facebook and restricting my correspondence. I got messages from people asking me about this kind of nonsense way too often. Even when I refer them to my website for the truth and denounce the false stories, many people keep on chasing after the gossip and fake stories. Even worse, when it is coming from people who I have allowed to have contact with Jesse and still they chase after the impostors and those who are simply victims of mistaken identity.
Very frustrating for me after so many years of telling nothing but the truth here on my site.
I state unequivocally that this is NOT Elvis, who IS Jesse, at the Jan. 8, 2017 birthday celebration. PERIOD!!
Elvis Presley ALIVE? Bearded dead ringer for The King spotted in 2017 sparks web storm
A BEARDED dead ringer for fallen icon Elvis Presley has been spotted at his Graceland home – fuelling speculation The King is alive and well.
By Joshua Nevett EXCLUSIVE / Published 16th January 2017
THE KING: Many truth seekers believe this bearded man is none other than Elvis Presley
Despite the death of the American singer in 1977, age 42, conspiracy theorists across the world are convinced the star is still with us.
Notorious theories of the King of Rock and Roll faking his own death and going into hiding have been whirling around the web for decades.
No offical cause of death was given, although post-mortem tests revealed his body was full of prescription drugs believed to have cause heart failiure.
Now new shock pictures of a mysterious bearded man mingling with fans at an event to mark his 82nd birthday have reignited the debate.
A cake-cutting ceremony to remember the music superstar was held on the front lawn of his Graceland home on Sunday January 8, 2017.
IN HIDING: Body guards can be seen stood around the bearded man
LEGEND: Elvis Presley died in 1977 of a suspected heart attack
Dozens were in attendance at The Guest House in Memphis, Tennessee, where birthday celebrations were held for the first time.
Intriguing images from the event showing the chubby grey-haired man stood among the crowd were posted to a Facebook page named “Elvis Presley Is Alive”.
In the snaps, the man, wearing a black jacket, a cap and shades, is seen stood surrounded by bodyguards with fans honouring Elvis at the bash.
At first glance his likeness to the Love Me Tender ace is dubious as the man, sporting a pony tail, appears to have different facial features.
But despite inconsistencies, growing numbers of truth seekers are sold on the theory that Elvis never left the building at all.
ICON: Elvis would have turned 82 on January 8 2017
LOOKALIKE: Conspiracy theorists are convinced the man is Elvis
“Must be our Elvis. The bodyguards are so obvious. ”
Opinions on whether the unknown man could really be the King, aged 82, are deeply divided on social media.
Susan Bradley wrote: “I did notice that man at a few points during the video and wondered if it was him.
“I thought, he’s hiding in plain site again. The people next to him probably have no idea.”
Janet Porter posted: “When I watched it I got so excited when I noticed the man and saw the tcb jacket and hat.
“I knew it was Elvis straight away so happy he got to spend his birthday celebration with his fans.”
Anna Brennan commented: “Must be our Elvis. The bodyguards are so obvious. Wish I was there so much. I would have noticed him.”
DEAD RINGER: The man is seen wearing a black jacket, baseball cap and shades
But some are of the view that the mystery bloke is actually Jesse Garon Presley, the stillborn identical twin brother of the Blues Suede Shoes singer.
Wild theories claiming Jesse, delivered 35 minutes before Elvis, survived the birth and lives to this day are well known among fanatics.
Marisa Berardinelli wrote: “Wow. We got a glimpse of Jesse yayy. We thank you so much for pointing it out to us.”
In a post ruminating over his features, the Facebook page wrote: “Look at this picture! Notice the pony tail? Elvis does not have a pony tail, therefore this must be Jesse.
Many were more skeptical of the theory.
Melinda Faulkner wrote: “This is not Elvis. The face is too wide.”
Julie Chastain Kee posted: “Let him be.”
Another “Elvis is alive” conspiracy theory involving a pony-tailed, grey-haired groundsman working at Graceland, surfaced last year.
Footage of the man at the 3.8-acre estate was posted to YouTube in June 2016.
But the man denied being the King after speaking out about the conspiracy theory that has swept the web.
Below are the links to two more articles featuring much of the same above story. This makes me think of the old saying “A lie travels around the world while the truth is lacing up it’s boot straps.“
TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2017
Well, well, well…I see that the above sighting nonsense is gaining traction in the media. This is such a shame and an injustice to the truth about Jesse who IS the man the world knew as Elvis Aron Presley.
I received word from a friend tonight that this silly video has been shown on the TV show “Inside Edition” and then I came across the below Internet news article about it again.
I post it here as the joke that it is. As you can see, that contemptible Facebook page about which I have cautioned everyone in the past appears to be at the root of this newest pile of garbage…Evidence Elvis Presley Is Alive. As you can see, this despicable Facebook page is continuing to spread their crazy lies about Elvis’ other siblings as well. Also, their lies about Pastor Bob Joyce. They have no shame!!!
Is Elvis Presley Still Alive? New Footage Reignites Conspiracy Theorists
By Jeff Giles January 17, 2017 9:37 AM
We saw a slew of rock stars die in 2016, so perhaps it’s only fitting that we’ve started 2017 with a fresh round of conspiracy theories suggesting Elvis Presley is secretly still alive. It’s all courtesy of the fittingly named Evidence Elvis Presley Is Alive Facebook group, where admins have pointed to livestream footage from Presley’s 2017 “birthday proclamation” event, held Jan. 8 at the singer’s Graceland estate, that supposedly offers proof of some beyond-the-grave shenanigans — specifically images of a burly bearded man standing in the background next to what appear to be security guards.
The footage has started making the rounds with a variety of publications, including NME and the U.K.’s Sun tabloid — although while those headlines suggest the man in the background might be Elvis, the Presley Is Alive group actually seems to believe it’s his stillborn twin Jesse … who is also apparently secretly still among the living.
It’s all a fairly deep rabbit hole to dive into, but if you’ve got a few free moments, it’s a field of — for lack of a better term — study that isn’t without a little entertainment value, and points the interested reader toward a version of the world in which a living Elvis lurks in hiding (and/or in the background of Home Alone) as a pastor named Bob Joyce, along with his brothers (Jesse and secret third sibling Clayton). You will most likely want to carry a large grain of salt with you on your journey, but it’s all rarely less than interesting.
“‘Elvis didn’t die. The body did. We’re keeping up the good spirits. We’re keeping Elvis alive,’” one post quotes longtime Presley manager Colonel Tom Parker as saying at the funeral. “‘I talked to him this morning and he told me to carry on.’ Isn’t this an odd statement to make?”
If you care to do a search, you will find that this story is now widespread and has been carried by other Internet “news” sites as well. Lots of people are gonna have egg on their face over this story just like all the other zany sightings.
Jesse does not want to be tracked down nor recognized whatsoever. He has stated this many times and has never once wavered on this topic. He wants to live out his life in private. All that these crazy rumors accomplish is to cause him to be even more cautious about going anywhere that he might be recognized…more constraints upon him. He has told me this in the past regarding the stories about sightings which I have shared with him in the recent past.

How on earth can anyone actually believe that this is the same man in these photos????? Look at the broad face, short nose, chubby cheeks…
This sounds like an interesting show…I am listening to it as I post this now. I haven’t seen much of Larry Geller for some time and was happy to see that this interview just took place yesterday.

Below is a video about the celebration of Elvis’ birth at the birthplace in Tupelo on January 8, 2017. I think Jesse will enjoy seeing this. When one stops to think about it, Tupelo is much more the appropriate place for celebrating his birth.

VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) — A federal judge ruled Monday that a South Dakota museum is the legal owner of a guitar played by Elvis Presley.
The Martin D-35 guitar has been on display at the National Music Museum in Vermillion since 2013. It had been donated by collector and musician Robert Johnson (not the legendary blues artist). But months later, Tennessee-based collector Larry Moss contacted the museum saying he was the rightful owner and the donor was not in a position to give away the guitar.
The National Music Museum asked a judge in July 2014 to declare it the legal owner of the guitar.
A judge ruled Monday that Moss never owned the title, never possessed the guitar and never paid for it, and didn’t take legal action during his three-year wait for the instrument. The museum received the guitar’s title in 2013 and is the legal owner, the court found.
Presley played the guitar during his 1977 tour and gave it to a fan in St. Petersburg, Florida, when it was damaged. Presley died six months later.
“We are elated to receive this judgment on the guitar,” National Music Museum Director Cleveland Johnson said in a statement. “We’re thrilled that our passionate commitment to it will ensure that it stays at the NMM for the enjoyment of our future visitors. We are the most suited to the guitar’s safeguarding and physical preservation. It’s in the best hands.”

Just want to let my visitors know that Jesse did phone me this afternoon. But, unfortunately, we were not in the house and missed his call. He did leave a good message and he is fine. He will call again when he can. As always, made me so sad that I missed speaking with him, but hearing his message was a real day brightener for us.

Sun Records on CMT | Filming in Memphis

Our Sun Records cast and crew talk about the magic of filming in Memphis. The new scripted series premieres Thursday, February 23 at 10/9c on CMT.
About Sun Records:
Set in Memphis during the tumultuous early days of the civil rights movement, Sun Records tells the untold story of nothing less than the birth of rock ‘n’ roll. Guided by Sam Phillips, young musicians like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis combined the styles of hillbilly country with the 1950s R&B sound created by artists like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Fats Domino and Ike Turner, and changed the course of music forever. The series chronicles these young artists’ often jarring and sudden meteoric rise to fame in the face of sweeping political change and social unrest.

Jesse called me late Saturday afternoon. He is not feeling really well and has a cold or the flu with a fever. He was calling back to see how I am doing. So, we had a nice commiserating visit. It was wonderful speaking with him as always. He promised to take really good care of himself.
