TUPELO – Several hundred U.S. and international visitors flocked to the Elvis Presley Birthplace on Thursday to be the first to see the newly expanded facility.

The event center was full of people with Elvis tattoos, T-shirts, purses, pins, “TCB” necklaces and a profuse love of Elvis.

“I’ve waited a long time to see a crowd in this room,” said birthplace Executive Director Dick Guyton.

The $4.3 million expansion is the first phase in a $6.3 million project. Thursday, the officials dedicated a 126-seat indoor theater, a 75-seat outdoor amphitheater, the event center, the snack bar, the exhibit hall, new bathrooms, a bigger parking lot and various picnic areas.

“Today is a game-changer for the Elvis legacy in Tupelo,” said Mayor Jack Reed Jr. before thetheater’s grand opening at noon.

The project broke ground in April 2011 and increased the covered square-footage of the birthplace from 6,000 to 16,000.

The goal of the expansion is to double the number of visitors to the birthplace during the next five years. It had about 40,000 paying visitors last year, according to the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Last week, I received a lovely gift, in the mail, from Jesse.  I will post a photo of it below.  It is another of the rings which belonged to his mother.  He did not say, but I feel sure that this is one of the gifts which Elvis bought for her back when he began his success.

It is a beautiful 14 K gold ring with a garnet stone.  I love garnet.

I hope everyone will enjoy seeing this sweet gift from Jesse:

I thank Jesse, from the bottom of my heart, for everything he has given me over the past 20 years.  No one will ever make so much as a penny off of his gifts, letters, etc. which he has given to me.  Everything will go with me to my grave with my ashes.  Jesse knows that I never ask for anything and what my plans are to do with all that I have when I pass away.  My sweet Tom is in complete agreement with me.

Lisa Marie Presley to make Grand Ole Opry debut

Lisa Marie Presley is scheduled to make her debut on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Aug. 21, following in the footsteps of her father, Elvis Presley.

The only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley has just finished a U.S. tour in support of her third album, Storm & Grace, a collection of Americana produced by T Bone Burnett.

Her father made one storied appearance at the Opry on Oct. 2, 1954, singing his version of the Bill Monroe classic Blue Moon of Kentucky.

Lisa Marie Presley will take to the stage alongside Rascal Flatts, Del McCoury Band, and The Time Jumpers.

Presley, 44 and a mother of twins, is to take part in events in Memphis this week to mark the 35th anniversary of her father’s death.

The singer still considers Graceland as a home and stays there several times a year, though she is now based in Britain. Her exhibit, Elvis: Through His Daughter’s Eyes, a collection of family mementos, is on display at the former Presley home for the next two years.

My good friend, Melinda, posted this link on my Facebook page.  I want to share it here because I plan to make a copy on DVD to send to Jesse.  I have an earlier article about this project previously posted on this site, but I can’t recall if there was a link posted directly to this animated video.  It is beautiful.  Don’t miss watching this one.

Here is an interesting article about Elvis’ visit with President Nixon in 1970 and about which there is an event in Memphis this week.

I have Mr. Krogh’s book about this meeting which includes all of the photos from the visit.  It is a great book.

Elvis Week panelist to share memories of how he arranged meeting with Nixon

  • August 13, 2012

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The man who arranged the White House meeting between Elvis Presley and President Richard Nixon is sharing his memories of how it came to happen during Elvis Week activities in Memphis.

A panel titled Elvis Insiders is set for Monday at Graceland, and the list of participants includes former Nixon aide Egil “Bud” Krogh.

The 1970 encounter produced what the National Archives says is the most requested image from its trove.

In the photo the two are shaking hands as a smiling Nixon looks at Presley while the singer, wearing one of his famous large belt buckles and a cloak, gazes toward the camera.

Elvis Week is expected to draw 75,000 fans to mark the 35th anniversary of Presley’s death.

Turner Classic Movies salutes Elvis Presley on Thursday, the 35th anniversary of his death. The movies start at 6 a.m. The highlights are in the evening: the documentary “Elvis on Tour” at 8, “Jailhouse Rock” at 9:45 and “Viva Las Vegas” with Ann-Margret at 11:30.

Last night I did a search on DirecTV and found that there are gobs of Elvis shows on all over the place this week.  I set our DVR to record many of them.

The TODAY show is going to have a segment on with Lisa Marie and her mother on the morning of the 16th.  This airs at 7:00 AM EDT

Well, I have good news and bad news.  Jesse did phone me a few minutes ago…but there were technical problems and we could not have a conversation.  I could barely hear him and I am not certain if he could hear me.  It sounded like he was a million miles away with a wind storm between us.  He did phone me back 2 or 3 times…but it was the same every time.  So, I am hoping that he will try again later.

So, needless to say I am way.y.y.y.y beyond disappointed and frustrated.  But, I knew that everyone would love to know that he is OK.  I am always so glad just to know that he is well and safe.

First, it is ridiculed.

Second, it is violently opposed.

Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”

Here is a really good song for this week of the 35th anniversary of Elvis’s retirement:

I shared this video back last winter (January,  I believe) but then it was not on YouTube.  Now that it is on Youtube, I want to share it again because it is so beautiful.  I also want to make a copy of this one for Jesse.  It is just so very poignant.

Tupelove: A Mystical Tale of Elvis’ Tupelo!

Published on Mar 1, 2012 by TupeloElvisHoney

When Norton’s car breaks down in Verona, Mississippi, little does he know that he’s about to be taken on a tour of Elvis sites in neighboring Tupelo, Mississippi. Elvis’ Birthplace, Tupelo Hardware, Johnnie’s Drive-in and many more special places are on the itinerary. Guiding him on this tour in a vintage 1957 Chevy is Vee who tells him about Elvis’ twin brother, Jesse (who passed at childbirth), Elvis’ first unknown radio performances from the Tupelo Courthouse and many more little known truths about the King of Rock & Roll. The film is narrated by Elvis drummer DJ Fontana and stars Amy LaVere (Walk the Line) and Corey Parker (Biloxi Blues, Will & Grace). Written and Directed by Mike McCarthy.

Let’s all remember that this was the saddest day in Elvis’s life when, in 1958, his precious mother passed away.  May his heart be comforted today when he thinks of this.

The following is a special article which I hope will be informative and enjoyable for everyone.  It has to do with some letters which Hinton received from Jesse in late 2000…which I haven’t been able to display because they were sent to Hinton after I received the rough draft.

I received my copy of the rough draft around Sept. 2000.  Jesse had asked Hinton to send him a copy of the book up through that point and Hinton sent a copy to me also.  We were still on good terms at that point in time.  I had helped Hinton with the book during his weekend long visits here in our home.  Also, Jesse had always stressed that the book belonged to all of us, not just Hinton.

I have made the copies of Jesse’s handwritten letters which were published in the book from my copy of the rough draft in order to avoid using them directly from the book itself as I do not own any part of the copyright to the book.

There were several more letters from Jesse which were used in the published book…letters which Hinton received after the rough draft was sent to me.  For some reason, Hinton did not display Jesse’s handwritten copies of two important letters in the book, even though he did publish his typed transcripts of the letters.

I want to share these two letters here for everyone to read since the book is so hard to come by and so overly expensive to purchase when one does locate a copy.

Because I don’t own any of the copyright to the book, I am going to type the transcript myself from the book so as not to be actually copying from the book.  I know that Jesse would want everyone to read as much of the book on this site as possible since it really did not reach that many fans when it was published.

This first letter was written by Jesse at 4:00 AM on 9-20-2000 and was after he received the rough draft up to that point.  Jesse received his copy of the rough draft at the same time that I received mine.

Dear Doc:

Great book!  You did a great job; the changes I want to make are as such….

Remember you will come under a lot of scrutiny by stating my life.  Also, most importantly do you want to use your name and address?  You will be hounded by every nut, and I don’t want you to be plagued with all kinds of problems!  I have already been told thru a source that Lisa Marie will cause problems if B. J.’s picture is shown.  You are taking a tremendous risk using your real name.  You have a good job and a great family and I don’t want you to jeopardize it.

Footnote:  because this was written AFTER I received the rough draft, I did not know that Hinton was going to use his real name on the book until March, 2001 when a friend was invited to Hinton’s home and he called and told me that he had seen the pre-published book and that Hinton had his name and photo on the book cover.  By then, Hinton and I were not communicating so I had no way to voice my opinion about what he was doing.  As you see, Jesse did his very best to discourage him from exposing himself.  This is why I can have no sympathy for the troubles which Hinton brought upon himself as a result of revealing his identity and thereby revealing my identity which has caused attacks upon me which have never ended to this day.

Elvis was quoted as having said Don’t let your head get too big, or it will break your neck.”  This was certainly applicable to Hinton’s ego and bad judgment.

Many of my people and so called friends who have gotten wind of this project are unhappy and jealous.  They wanted to make all the money off of this.  I want you, Linda (Sigmon), and “Bern” to make some money off of this publication.  You all deserve it, my loyal friends.  I have told you many intimate secrets and have many more to tell you.   Whatever you people feel like asking, just go ahead.  My numerology chart exposes more than just 1977 and 1935 having some significance.  And tell Linda (Sigmon) and “Bern” they are equally important to me.  You are my trinumerate!!

Footnote:  As you can see, Jesse was nowhere near through giving information for the book.  This proves that Hinton rushed to publish it before Jesse was ready.  Jesse said to me during one of our phone conversations “I wasn’t through yet.  I had more things I wanted to tell.

… Everyone has been more than helpful, I am still in good health because of you people believing in me, and giving me undying loyalty which is especially helpful to me.

I will sign off now and please keep in touch…

Jesse G. Presley

Hinton wrote in the book that he received the following letter from Jesse on October 21, 2000.  This is the final letter from Jesse which was included in the book.  This after Jesse having just said, the month before, that he had many more intimate secrets to share.  I have no idea why Hinton pressured Jesse in to allowing him to go to a publisher the first of December, 2000.  Looking back, I can see that Hinton had this plan at work as far back as September when he pressured Jesse to go ahead and have me send him the photo of Jesse with Benjamin,  got rid of me in November,  etc.

Jesse wrote:

My fascination with the idea of a hoax about my death was when Jim Morrison died July 3rd, 1971.  Although I saw no correlation (he died at age 27) I was astounded that as famous as he was the body was just closed up and shipped out.  Now I don’t know all of the facts concerning his death.  I thought it awfully strange that no autopsy was performed (or so I thought) and just forgotten about.  There were a lot of rumors about his death.  I noticed that he was born on the 8th day.  Born in 1944 = 1-8 and died in 1971 = 1-8.  Remember my comeback in 1968? 1+9+6=8=24.  Obviously, I was no longer 24, so I reversed the age to 42.  The next time that number had any relevance was 1977 (1+9+7+7=24) when I would be 42.

Numerology can and does play an important part of my life and we knew that would have to be the date.  I picked the most naive person I could think of in Ginger Alden, although she waited way too long in discovering my body.  Anyone who knew of my predicaments at the time and had any sympathy for my lifestyle can forgive me for what I did…I will be sending you more private information for the book…

Most people if they know what to look for will find significance in the forms of numbers in all of my movies!  Example:  gravestone in “Loving You” (year) 1878=? (1+8=7=8=24).  You have to look at the movies.  My hero James Dean died at the age of 24, but I was on top of the world then and wanted to live.

Doc, I worry about your reputation with this book.  I would not be angry in the least if you didn’t want to continue with it…But as you hear more from me in letter form the facts will speak for themselves.

I also want you and Linda (Sigmon) and Tom and “Bern” to know you are all my children and equal in stature.  I have requested in a safe deposit box in…that you four friends of mine will cremate my body and the ashes be spread around the home in Tupelo.  Right now with all the help I get from all of you I am still healthy.  Thank you all.

Your Pal

Jesse told me something which he wanted to be sure that Hinton put in the book during one of our conversations and I relayed it to Hinton.  Below is what Jesse wanted in the book:

Hinton wrote:

During a conversation with Linda (Sigmon) in December, 2000, Jesse said the only reason he originally went to Michigan was to try to make contact with the doctor mentioned earlier who is his distant relative.  In fact, he told Linda (Sigmon), he does not particularly like Michigan.  He asked that this information please be included in the book.  After making initial contact with the publisher with Jesse’s permission in December, I received the following card and gifts for Christmas.  They were sent to be included in the book.  The gifts included two gold rings he used to wear, and two hair samples, all of which were photographed for the book.  The enclosed card said the following:

The one garnet gold ring I wore at one time, the other gold ring was a gift to me from I don’t know who.  Thanks for helping “Bern” out.  There are more gold rings for you in the future.  Be careful and discreet with names in the book.  I guess “Bern” doesn’t want it printed in…Can you do something about that?  Maybe it could be sold thru the Internet in…

Take care, your friend,

The hair samples are from ’57 or ’58.

And with that Jesse’s contributions to the book ended.  As I pointed out above, it is obvious from his statements in these letters that he was not finished with the book.

So, everyone was cheated out of more facts straight from Elvis because Hinton rushed to publish the book.

Also, you can see how very concerned Jesse was about protecting everyone’s identities in the book.  Had Hinton bothered to discuss his plans to put his name and face on the book with me, I could have reminded him of his letters which were published in my newsletter which would reveal that “Shuma” in the book was actually me.

Two of my dear friends shared the following two photos and comments on Facebook.  I thank them both so very, very much.

  • Bernice …posted toElvis Is Alive

This picture i like as i can see jesse in Elvis’s face its just incredible!

My dearest friend, M J  has posted something beautiful to our blog page today and I want to place it on this page so that all of our visitors may enjoy it also.  It is very appropriate for this anniversary week.  This song was written by M J herself.

“A New Identity”

No one will ever know
the new identity
of the man, the lonely man
who used to be

Not a trick, a hoax, but a brand new life
yes, it really is
but it had to be done, the plan had to be run
to convince people it was his

Somewhere, he is hiding
a free man, yet still afraid
but soon, he’ll walk among us
he’ll have come out of the shade

A brand new life, not to deceive
and everyone does believe
but soon I know you will see
the man with the new identity

Where he is, how he’ll look
is just a glimmer in my mind
but I do know this, he still lives
and not only in my mind

We’ll never see the man who was
he was just too tired for that game
but somewhere soon will walk a man
with the same face but a different name

It had to be done, he was just too tired
people, some won’t believe
but watch and see, somewhere, someday
his looks will deceive

A new identity for the same man
is it possible you will ask
for no other man could do it
this life-changing task

He’s alone now, yes, still afraid
but soon he’ll walk free
and I know if ever I meet him
I’ll know that it’s really he

Yesterday, I did a recorded interview with a radio show in Sydney, Australia – 2UE 954AM.   I spoke with Jason over the phone last night.

The morning of the 16th has already taken place in Australia and they did air the interview with me at 8:20 AM on the 16th.

Kara with the station Emailed an MP3 file of the interview to me this evening and I have uploaded it into my media files for this site.

I will insert a link below at which you may hear the entire interview.  When you click on this link, you will be taken to another page with simply my name  showing; you will need to click on linda and the file will begin to play.

Linda Hood Sigmon radio show interview for August 16, 2012 in Sydney, Australia – 2UE 954AM.

Although I got off to a rocky start while attempting to view the candlelight vigil on line, (when their site seemed to crash) I finally got to see well over an hour of it before it ended.   It was very touching and, of course, they played wonderful Elvis music in the background the whole time which was just fantastic.  Lisa and her mother were there and delivered brief messages of appreciation to the 75,000 fans.  The spectacle of  that huge mass of people holding their candles high was so touching.  Listening to Elvis’s voice and seeing that was most touching to me even though I am so very blessed to be his close friend…I still got tears in my eyes.

The songs which they played throughout the ceremonial portion were all very well chosen and very “in tune” with the speeches, etc.  But, one song which was chosen to play at a pivotal time (around the end of  speeches) caught my attention…although all of the songs were just timed perfectly…this one really stood out for me “I Will Be Home Again”…gave me goosebumps.

Below is the photo of the crowd for those who may have missed watching it.

Below is an explanation which was posted…this proves how very, very, very much Elvis is loved the whole world over…

Working months in advance, we prepared for millions of Elvis fans from around the world to watch the candlelight vigil live on However, the amount of visitors was historic and even much greater than anticipated. Currently the vigil is live at:  The beginning of the 35th Anniversary Candlelight Vigil, featuring a greeting by Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley, will be broadcast at 10:10 p.m. CST at and immediately following we will return to live coverage which will continue until 11:30 p.m. CST. We appreciate your patience.

I want to let everyone know that overnight my computer was hacked into again.  I will be spending my day attempting to restore my computer.  I can still get on the Internet but some of everything else is missing or damaged.  I suppose this is the work of someone who wishes to send me a message on this special day.  The goons never give up!!

You know  who you are and I hope you are feeling very satisfied and good about yourself today.  I am fully aware that these severe attacks on my computer are being done on significant dates so that I will know that I am being targeted related to my Elvis/Jesse work.  Last year when my domain name was stolen, the thief waited until shortly after 12:00  AM on June 26th  which is the anniversary of Elvis’s last concert…and last night the attack took place on August 16th.

I am fully aware that there are many people who consider me their enemy because I threaten their personal agendas of making money from people believing that Elvis died.  While there are many others who hate me because of jealousy and egotistical vanity in trying to prove that I am not telling the truth.

May God deal with you according to your actions.

My dearest friend MJ has created an account of the way things may have been for Elvis, who became Jesse, on August 17, 1977.   MJ is very gifted and has the soul of a poet.  My heartfelt thanks to her.

“The Next Morning…”

His sleep has not been restful. Images of the past several days have stirred the night terrors, again. What plagued him as a boy and followed him, haunting him, into and thru adulthood, reared its’ ugly head again. That fear, that same fear, rose up in the reality of his unconscious sleep. But this time, he slayed the dragon. He had won. The months of prayer and planning had culminated in the events of yesterday. Everything went off rather well, with the exception of her almost waiting too long to find his body.

As his first conscious thoughts tell him that he is no longer asleep, he brings both hands to his face, his long fingers touching his face, gently rubbing the sleep from his tired eyes. He lays in his bed alone, staring up at the ceiling, offering a silent thought, a simple prayer, “God, help me.”

Seconds pass into minutes as he finally stirs. His long legs throw his feet unto the carpeted floor. He looks around the room, not his room that has been his refuge for so many years. He rises to his full height, wearing plain blue cotton pajamas, and walks slowly into the bathroom.

He pauses at the bathroom sink and studies the reflection in the mirror. His black hair is tussled, falling in his eyes. The face looking back at him is an extremely handsome one, belying his 42 years. The face has been photographed, filmed, and videotaped for more years than he cares to remember. He carefully studies his reflection, observing the appearance of slight graying at his hairs’ roots. A day’s growth of beard cannot harden his face.

He looks deep into the eyes looking back at him. Eyes so blue, as the waters of an expanse of the wide, open sea. And he thinks. Slowly, the small beginnings of a smile form at the sides of his perfect mouth. His full lips part to mouth only 2 words. Barely above a whisper, they are audible only to him. In that soft, Southern, silken tone, he finally speaks the words that he has waited so long to say. “Mornin’, Jesse.”

With love,

Priscilla, Lisa Marie Presley remember Elvis, reveal his fear he’d be forgotten

By Ree Hines, TODAY contributor

Elvis Presley will never be forgotten. If his continued record sales and pop culture icon status don’t prove that, then the thousands of fans who flock to his Graceland home to honor him each year do. But there was a time when some thought he would fade away, and the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll was one of them

Lisa Marie Presley to Debut Collaboration With Father During Elvis Week in Memphis

The singer will premiere a new video tribute Thursday to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in honor of the 35th anniversary of his death.

Lisa Marie Presley has planned a special treat for fans of her father.

In honor of the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death, she will debut a new collaboration with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll at Thursday night’s tribute concert at the FedExForum in downtown Memphis. While the song she chose is being kept under wraps — Presley wants it to be a surprise for fans at the show — the singer did reveal that it was produced by Grammy and Oscar winner T-Bone Burnett.

PHOTOS: Elvis Presley: A Look at His Life and Career in Pictures

“Every five years, I try to do a special tribute,” Presley told The Hollywood Reporter. (Her last tribute was a “duet” with Elvis of “In the Ghetto,” released in 2007. Proceeds from the single went toward plans to build the Presley Place Transitional Housing Campus in New Orleans, where the video was shot.)

She added that she sought Burnett’s advice this time around.

“He found this sweet, amazing song off [Elvis’] first record, and we went into the studio and harmonized a little bit,” she said. “For me, it was important this year to do something where it wasn’t about me singing or a duet. I just wanted it to be something really sweet.”

To accompany the recording, Presley has also created a video that will be shown at the concert.

“It’s very intimate,” Presley said. “It was important for me to show that he’s carrying on through me and my children.”

Presley’s mom, Priscilla, is also among those scheduled to take part in the concert, which is one of numerous events being held in conjunction with Elvis Week 2012. Organizers are expecting this year’s edition to be the biggest ever. Both Presleys are also scheduled to take part in a panel discussion Friday at Graceland about what went on behind the scenes of Elvis’ touring productions.

Presley said she is heartened by all the love still shown for her father.

“It’s touching and moving and to see it still going on, in this way, makes me very happy,” she said.

Meanwhile, Presley also is set to make her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Tuesday, performing songs from her new album, Storm & Grace, which also was produced by Burnett, whom she calls a “father figure.” The Americana-tinged album, her third, marks a new direction for Presley and has received many positive reviews.

“I feel like it’s like you’re trying on different outfits while finding your way, and this is the one I’m most comfortable with,” she said of the genre. “I switched genres, and it was a bit shocking for people. … But this is the one that feels most like me.”

Of her appearance at the Grand Ole Opry — where her father performed in 1954 — Presley admitted that she’s a little nervous.

“It’s nerveracking,” she said. “I’m nervous about it. There is so much history, and obviously I am really proud and honored to be able to do this.”

After that, Presley is headed to Europe to promote the new album and is gearing up for a U.S. tour in the fall.

I want to thank everyone who has visited during the past 3 years and 3 months for making this milestone possible.  I owe it all to Elvis, who is now Jesse, and to each individual who has been a guest on this site.

I am so happy that this took place during Elvis Week.  I was so hoping that it would take place exactly on August 16…but it fell one day late.

Because I have been accused very recently (as well as in times past) of just making up that Jesse has called me, etc., I am going to display below a postmarked envelope and just a very few lines from a note which I received from Jesse in yesterday’s mail.

I have not had a chance to ask Jesse’s permission to show this…but given the horrible name I have been called on YouTube by Nellysman1 stating that I don’t know anything about Elvis and that I am an “Attention Wh…“, I feel certain that Jesse won’t mind me displaying this tiny bit to prove that I did get the phone call from him last Monday in which we could not hear each other and that I did receive the letter from him, in Memphis, which was mailed last Wednesday, August 15th.

I NEVER show the postmarks on anything from Jesse which is mailed from anywhere that could be traced to him.  However, because he has already left Memphis, I feel safe in displaying this since it is so vital in proving when he wrote the note to me.

I thank Jesse from the very bottom of my heart for his call and for the note to me.  He is, as always, my HERO!!!

One picture is worth a thousand (or maybe a million) words:

Here is a transcript of what Jesse wrote in the above excerpt:

I’m so sorry what happened Monday night.  My phone has to be removed.  I had to leave the next morning and here I am in Memphis.

To be fair to Nellysman1 who posted the horrible comments about me and used the vulgar language in his comments about Jesse’s new songs on YouTube, he has contacted me through private messages on Facebook, has admitted his mistakes and has removed the comments about me and the description of the video.  I thank him for this.   I haven’t removed my articles about what he wrote, though, because once such things are put out there, they are forever in the minds of those who have read it and the shadow of doubt is forever cast about me and the truth on which my web site is founded and based.  But, I do appreciate his ultimate decision to remove the wrongful words.

My good friend, Melinda, shared the following Youtube video link with me on my Facebook page.  I thank her so very much for bringing this to my attention.

I think many of us will be very eager to see Larry Geller’s new DVD which is coming out in Sept…I know I certainly do want to see it.  I love the topic of Elvis’s spiritual quest and knowledge.

Also, I have enjoyed everything which Larry has done.  His books are among my favorites…especially his first book done with Jess Stearn “The Truth About Elvis“.  If you have not read this one, you really should.

The image is one thing.  The human being is another.”  It is the  human being who is my friend and who I love like family.

Below is a brief, but much better video of Lisa and some of the fans at the candle light vigil.

Fans in Memphis mark 35 years since Elvis

I am going to ask everyone to please forgive me for getting into the political realm.  Normally, I would not promote my personal views here on the site…I know that Elvis NEVER expressed his views on matters of this nature.  However, our nation is standing at such a perilous time of decision making, that I cannot keep silent.  For those of opposing views, please understand that I mean no affront nor offense to anyone…just want everyone to be fully aware of the facts before they cast their presidential vote in just a few months.

Tom and I attended a showing of the film 2016: Obama’s America yesterday.  I already had my mind made up to vote against Obama (once again) for a very long time now.  This film confirmed all that I suspected and revealed a whole lot more.

At the end of the film, the theater erupted in applause and one gentleman stood and announced “Now, everyone go home and tell your family, your friends, and everyone you know to see this movie!”  I said aloud “Amen!!!” to what he had said.

I do beg everyone to please see this film and THEN decide how you will vote in November.

The very America that we all love; have enjoyed; have been proud of;  that men and women have fought and died for is at stake.  This is the absolute truth.

The liberal media hides the truth from the general public…as is written in the below linked article.  Here is a brief excerpt from this article which reports that some newspapers are refusing to run the show times for this movie because of their liberal prejudice against the truth.

“To watch this movie and realize – or simply be reminded of – all that is unknown about President Obama is of concern. Much of the information has been ignored by the American media totally. When appropriately reminded as to what is still unknown about Obama to date, one has to ask: How can any logical-thinking person give a damn about Romney’s taxes while not asking any questions regarding our current president’s past?”

Please don’t depend on your local newspapers nor TV stations and networks to run ads for this movie.  Just go to the web site for the movie and do a search for showings in your own area.  This is how we found it.

The producer of this movie is an award-winning professional who did work on such movies as “Schindler’s List

Here is the official web site for the movie on which you may locate theaters now showing it:

My friend, Rick wrote asking if I noticed that they played this song during the vigil during the speeches:

Rick sent me the link to the YouTube video of the vigil during the playing of this song.  My thanks to Rick for sharing the video with me.

Did anyone happen to get a video of the candlelight vigil with sound which includes the speeches and the end of the presentations by Elvis Country, etc.?  If so do you have the part where Elvis was singing “I Will Be Home Again”?  I would love to see this on YouTube if anyone has it.

Our friend, RichG1972, who has posted often to our blog page, sent me the below photo comparison between Elvis and Jesse pointing out the matching bone structure.  Rich wrote:  Carefully look at the shoulder positions in these 2 photos, as you see it is identical as is the arm circumference and build, the hand and finger span the collar bone indications, it ALL matches up so there is no doubt in my mind that this is indeed Elvis and you can tell Jesse I believe him 100% It amazes me how BLIND people could be to the fact that this IS Elvis.  I mean look at the Side By Side I made here for you.  Its RIGHT THERE!!!!

My thanks  to Rich for this wonderful photo for comparison.

Also, just as a refresher on the facial bone structure for those who may be new to this site:

That’s all for today… 🙂

Below is a wonderful video on YouTube done to Jesse’s new song “Wanna Be Startin Somethin”.  The photos are so wonderfully matched to this fantastic song.

Here is one of the photo’s used in the video by Elviskingofhearts.  Isn’t this just perfect for this song!!!!  I love it!!

Here is the link where you may listen to the song and enjoy the visual display as well:

I thank my friend who created this as well as many more lovely videos of Jesse’s new songs.

Below is a video of a news report about Lisa Marie appearing at the Grand Ole Opry last night.

I thank my friend Melinda who shared this with me on Facebook.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The daughter of the late King of Rock & Roll made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night.

Lisa Marie Presley performed selections from her third studio album, “Storm & Grace,” at 7 p.m.

Other performers include Rascal Flatts, Del McCoury Band and The Time Jumpers.

Her father, Elvis Presley, made his one and only appearance at the Opry back on October 2, 1954, singing his version of the Bill Monroe classic “Blue Moon of Kentucky.”

Her debut album was produced by 12-time Grammy-winner T Bone Burnett, whose credits include the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack as well as Alison Krauss and Robert Plant, Roy Orbison, and more.

At the end of the news report about Lisa, it was stated that James Burton was also on stage at the Opry last night.
